Eugenio J. Alemán, Ph.D, Senior Economist, Wells Fargo & Co.
Eugenio J. Alemán holds a doctorate in economics with an emphasis in economic development and international trade and finance from Florida International University. He forecasts national, regional, and international economic trends, focusing on Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina. He specializes in the border-town economies that trade with Mexico and in the Maquiladora manufacturing sector along the U.S.-Mexican border. Mr. Alemán also contributes to the analysis of the U.S. economy for Wells Fargo, including interest rates and the Texas economy. Mr. Alemán joined Wells Fargo as senior economist in July 2005. He worked at Global Insight, one of the leading economic forecasting and consulting firms in the U.S. as managing director for its Latin America Service. He has worked for the petroleum industry, and was also an adjunct professor at Drexel University in Philadelphia and a professor of economics and the director of the MBA program at the Inter-American University in Puerto Rico.

Robert N. Barone, Principal - Ancora West Advisors; Chairman - California State Auto Association (AAA)
Robert N. Barone is a managing partner of Ancora West Advisors, an investment adviser affiliated with the Ancora group of companies. He sits on Ancora West’s security selection team and has investment discretion for all of Ancora West’s managed accounts.
From 1984 to 1999, Mr. Barone was the chief executive officer of Comstock Bank, Reno, Nevada. In 1999, Comstock was sold to First Security Bank which in turn was acquired by Wells Fargo in 2000. In 2001, he founded Adagio Trust Co., which he sold in 2006. Beginning in the late 1990s, Mr. Barone was a director of the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco, and its chairman in 2004. He is currently chairman of the California State Automobile Association (AAA) and its associated insurance company. Mr. Barone is also a founding director of Nevada Security Bank, the major holding of The Bank Holdings (TBHS), and is a director of Allied Mineral Products, Columbus, OH.
Mr. Barone is a recognized authority on bank management with more than 35 years of experience and has developed expertise in corporate governance best practices. He graduated from Georgetown University and received a Ph.D. in Economics from that institution. |

Tom Cargill, Professor, University of Nevada, Reno
Professor Thomas F. Cargill received his Ph.D. in Economics in 1968 from the University of California at Davis. He has taught and conducted research on financial and monetary economics at the University of California, Davis; California State University, Sacramento; Purdue University; and since 1973, the University of Nevada, Reno. Professor Cargill has taught in the summer program of the College of Business, University of Hawaii since 1999.
Professor Cargill has been a visiting scholar at the Comptroller of the Currency, Bank of Japan, Japanese Ministry of Finance, Japanese Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, East-West Center at the University of Hawaii, and the Bank of Korea. He has served as a consultant to the National Credit Union Administration, the World Bank, Central Intelligence Agency, and the International Monetary Fund. Professor Cargill has been invited to make presentations to a variety of governmental agencies in the United States, Japan, and Korea and has presented lectures in China, Guam, Hungry, Australia, and Indonesia.
Professor Cargill has authored or co-authored a large number of articles and books, many of which have been frequently cited in the economics literature. He has been active in business and economic consulting, contributing to the news media, and conducting regional research on the Nevada economy. |

Tad Dunbar Veteran news anchor Tad Dunbar has been in the reporting business for more than 50 years. Dunbar retired from KOLO News Channel 8 last July, after 38-years as the evening anchor. Prior to reporting in Reno, Dunbar worked in various television and radio stations in Texas where he was born and raised. Michael Schneider is founder and managing partner of InfraConsult LLC, a new firm specializing in the development and financing of sustainable infrastructure projects and solutions. Spanning more than three decades, Mike's career in the infrastructure services field, has focused on two primary areas: innovative project development and delivery strategies, principally in the transport domain; and public-private partnerships (PPPs) for transport and infrastructure development.
As chairman of a special purpose company, California Transportation Ventures (CTV), Mike led the development of the SR 125 South Bay Expressway toll road east of San Diego, which opened to revenue traffic on July 12, 2008. To date, this project - one of California's AB 680 pilot public-private partnership projects - remains the only fully private project to be built using a federal (TIFIA) loan and private bank financing. He is also a Director of the private/governmental consortium constructing the Second Vivekananda toll bridge in Calcutta, India, also built with private investment and open for traffic in August 2007.

Jeff Thredgold is president of Thredgold Economic Associates. His career includes 23 years with $95 billion banking giant KeyCorp, where he served as senior vice president and chief economist. He now serves as economic consultant to $50 billion Zions Bancorporation, which has banks in ten states, as well as other clients.
